"Iron Man"

I just got back from seeing Iron Man. Robert Downey Jr. significantly raises the quality bar of "Iron Man" to the classic level of fellow comic book heroes Superman, Batman and Spider-Man. He's perfect for the role of Tony Stark/Iron Man. Not only is he smart and witty but can be serious and tough when the occasion arises. The story, special effects, and acting are nearly flawless. The only complaint I have is minor but I wish one of the fight scenes would have been handled a little differently. I thought it would be good but it exceeded my expectations. On a scale of 1-10 I would rate it a 9 and plan on going to see it again next weekend. I Welcome the new franchise and suggest you go check it out. Make sure you sit through the end credits because there is some extra footage you don't want to miss at the very end.

He's my closest friend and brother and the only person to ever understand me. He has never passed judgment or kicked me when I was down, but instead helped me to stand when I didn't have the strength to do it on my own. He has been married to the nicest woman in the world for 16 years. They were there for me when I went through my divorce and gave me a place to stay when I had nowhere else to go. They defended me when everybody else was against me. We met around 29 years ago in a small town. I think what first drew us to each other was it seemed we were the only two artists in town and nobody else seemed to get us. Our art has changed quite a bit over the years. We have always showed and discussed our art to each other. When we were kids we used to draw at each others houses, school, church, and even in the car. We didn't start painting until the late 80's and that's when we really started to take our art seriously. When my interest in art was low he would bring it back up. I don't know if he realized it or not but he always inspired me to push my art to the next level.
